30 Day Challenge
Seeking the presence of God,
Reading His Word,
Learning to listen for His voice
The Holy Spirit showed me that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He said that there will be transformation, healing and production of fruit when you seek Him with all of your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 God promises that you will find Him when you seek Him with all of your heart. And in His presence is where the answer is found. Whatever you are looking for, whatever you are lacking or in need of, it is found in Jesus. And Jesus is the Word. We have been given a tool that is sharper than any double edged sword, a weapon that is powerful enough to destroy strongholds. The Word of God can heal your broken heart, it can heal your pain and your trauma, The word of God can give you wisdom & direction when you feel lost, order where there’s chaos, revival when you feel defeated.
Paul teaches in Romans 10:17 that “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” So when your faith is low, you can literally read the Bible out loud and it will increase your faith.

Discipline overides difficulty.
The grace of God is sufficient.
10 min of reading scripture
10 min of praying
10 min of being still (listening for God to speak)
30 days 30 minutes a day
Ephesians 1:7-8, In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he richly poured out on us with all wisdom and understanding.
As you begin this challenge and allow God to wash you with the Word, here are some steps to make it easy.
-
Thank God for His mercies that are new each morning & welcome His presence. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a supernatural understanding & revelation of the Word.
-
Go to a quiet place and open your bible or bible app to the scripture of the day. Find a translation that you are comfortable with & read it out loud. Read the scripture in different translations to get a full understanding of the word.
-
Write down any observations, thoughts or questions you have about what you read. What stands out to you? The word of God is alive and active, pay attention to the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit as He may highlight something to you. Go with your instincts, if you have a strong feeling or impression it could be God showing you something to focus on.
-
Pray. Begin to converse with God about what you have read. Ask Him how does this relate to you? How does He want you to apply it in your own life? Are there any direct commands or instructions that you should follow? What lessons can be taken from the scripture? What area in your life is God trying to speak into? Reflect on these things.
-
Be still. Conversation with God goes both ways. Often times we pour out our hearts but don’t give God a chance to pour out His heart. It may be hard to literally sit still, but try and close your eyes and enter the spirit realm. Block out any noise and listen intentionally for God’s voice. He may not speak to your physical ears, but He can speak to your heart & to your spirit. He may drop an image in your mind, a memory, a scripture, a song. Allow God to be God, He is a Spirit and speaks to your spirit. You are also a spirit, learn to listen with your spirit.
